Part-time accountant role based in Dubai for a trading, retail, and hospitality business.
The role maintains accurate financial records and handles day-to-day accounting tasks.
The position is hands-on and requires independent, organized, and detail-oriented work.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records and record sales, purchases, expenses, payments, and receipts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts and company records.
- Prepare invoices and maintain supporting documentation.
- Monitor customer payments and supplier balances.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and basic management reports.
- Assist with VAT-related accounting and documentation.
- Coordinate with management on financial information and requirements.
- Support general administrative and financial tasks when required.
Requirements
- Proven accountant or similar-role experience in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- At least two years of Zoho Books experience is required.
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting practices.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and organization.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Trading, retail, or hospitality experience is advantageous.
Working Schedule
- The role is part-time for three to four days per week.
- Working days and hours will be discussed based on availability and business requirements.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000 to AED 6,000 per month.
