Your mission
Own day-to-day bookkeeping and month-end close for the group's entities.
Ensure transactions, reconciliations, and financial information are accurate, timely, and ready for Finance review and sign-off.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end month-end close process and deliver it to the agreed timetable.
- Record accounting entries and perform bank, payroll, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare accruals, prepayments, rental revenue journals, and fixed-asset register reconciliations.
- Process supplier invoices, accounts payable invoices, receivables collections, and payments.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns, support tax returns, and ensure UAE VAT compliance.
- Maintain ApprovalMax and prepare management accounts and transaction records under IFRS and internal policies.
- Support audits, MFR slides, expense reporting, payroll inputs, automation, process improvements, and ad hoc requests.
Who you are
- At least three years of accounting experience in an international or multi-entity environment.
- Experience with reconciliations, management reporting, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and double-entry accounting.
- Proficiency with Xero, SAP, or similar accounting tools and Excel.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, deadline management, prioritization, and a proactive approach to problems.
Nice to have
- Experience with crypto or digital asset accounting.
- Experience in fintech, blockchain, or high-growth companies.
