Responsibilities
- Individually contribute to sales revenue for Middle East region (excluding Saudi Arabia) via identifying and prospecting new business opportunities in the technology sector as well as keeping existing clients engaged
- Lead outreach and sales efforts across IDC’s portfolio with special focus on Events portfolio, targeting technology vendors across the Middle East
- Organize and drive face to face and virtual meetings with existing and potential customers to sell IDC Services
- Collaborate with internal teams based in different offices regionally to drive sales
- Customize proposals based on customer requirements with the support of team members through existing PowerPoint templates
- Accurately report the sales pipeline in the CRM and local market intel/inputs to grow the business based on trends and requirements
Requirements
- Solid track record of about 8 10 years of experience with a focus on transactional selling
- Knowledge of the technology sector and/or experience with selling into Marketing unit is a big plus
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at various organizational levels
- Powerful negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, advanced PowerPoint skills are an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment
- Excellent problem solving skills and a strategic mindset to navigate complex sales scenarios
- Being self motivated, driven, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales related software, knowledge of Salesforce in particular is a plus

About The Role & Team
- As an Account Executive at IDC, you will be responsible for driving sales, growth and building long lasting relationships with existing clients (20%) and prospects (80%) within Middle East excluding Saudi Arabia across the IDC portfolio of services.
- While this role is not open at this time, we are actively identifying and engaging with high quality Account Manager or Account Executive candidates in anticipation of future openings.
- Candidates who apply may be contacted for an exploratory conversation or kept in mind for upcoming opportunities.
What You’ll Do

What You Bring
- A solid track record of about 8 10 years of experience with a focus on transactional selling emphasizes speed, efficiency, and closing a quick, price driven deals without deep customisation and client relationship management.
- Knowledge of the technology sector and/or experience with selling into Marketing unit is a big plus.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at various organizational levels.
