Account Executive

Description

Responsibilities

• Manage all sales aspects of a given territory, including growth, relationships, high-level product overview, communication
• Successfully build and maintain relationships with clients to sell products and provide Tyler-wide portfolio awareness
• Lead, organize, and manage demonstrations of company software by scheduling demos with clients and internal resources
• Assist in coordination of User Groups with occasional presentation responsibilities
• Attend proactive check-ins with clients, attend meaningful onsite meetings with various members to gain information about their business needs and current environment, and understand the client, decision makers, and their organization
• Regularly manage opportunities and territory pipeline via Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Travel to customer locations and applicable trade shows or on-site demonstrations, approximately 50% of the time
• Communicate effectively with internal staff as well as existing clients
• Assist with preparation of RFP responses
• Meet annual sales goals and pre-set annual quota set forth by the company
• Stay current with new product knowledge, technology, services, standards, and industry developments
• Manage the sales cycle to respond/act in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
