Reporting to the Territory Manager, you will increase growth across Rockwell Automation's full portfolio, expanding both direct and indirect business. Success will be achieved through new logo acquisition and the development of low-value and underperforming accounts. Based in the South West of England, you will lead strategic pursuits, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and work closely with channel partners to focus on the territory's highest-value, long-term opportunities-fostering a "winning together" culture. You will create demand, grow the installed base, and act as the connector between Rockwell, customers, and partners. Working with consultants, domain experts, systems specialists, and partners, you will build strong relationships from C‑suite to implementer, ultimately maturing accounts to a level suitable for distributor or dedicated account management. Your Responsibilities: Develop account development strategies to grow Rockwell Automation's presence within the South West territory, with a clear focus on new logo acquisition Lead strategic sales pursuits, aligning our teams, domain experts, and partners to win new business and convert opportunities into sustainable growth Identify, qualify, and develop underperforming or low‑value accounts, building them to a scale ready for handover to a Distributor or dedicated Account Manager Collaborate with partner and distributor sales teams, coaching them toward long‑term, high‑value opportunities and strengthening a "winning together" culture Build, trusted relationships with customer team members from C‑suite to plant‑level decision makers, positioning Rockwell as a strategic automation partner The Essentials - You Will Have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline OR equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience Willingness to travel within the assigned territory Valid driver's licence, required for roles involving regular travel and eligibility for Company Car / Car Allowance programmes Reside in the South West Territory The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Strategic thinking and leadership in sales Cross-functional coordination and coaching Relationship-building with our teams, partners, and customers Ability to identify and nurture new business opportunities Experience selling industrial automation solutions Experience delivering sales results and meeting commitments Can understand and contribute to dialogue about customers Business Plans to develop their automation solutions Experience doing business and creating relations with decision makers such as Site Manager, EHS Manager, Operations Manager and Engineering Manager, C Suite Experience leading the Customer Service Value Chain throughout the complete Sales Cycle Commercial experience within industrial automation, digital transformation, or smart manufacturing environments Experience in new logo acquisition and early‑stage account development Experience working with distribution partners and indirect sales models in a matrixed sales environment Operate in ambiguous or growth‑focused territories, using a structured and disciplined sales approach What We Offer: Our benefits package includes … Volunteer Paid Time off available after 6 months of employment for eligible employees Company volunteer and donation matching program – Your volunteer hours or personal cash donations to an eligible charity can be matched with a charitable donation On-demand digital course library for professional development Comprehensive mindfulness programs with a premium membership to Calm Employee Assistance Program Personalized wellbeing programs through our OnTrack program ... and other local benefits!
