Role Overview
Provide behavioral therapy to children and individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver ABA-based interventions according to individualized treatment plans.
- Collect and record behavioral data during sessions.
- Implement discrete trial training, natural environment training, and other ABA methodologies.
- Communicate with the supervising BCBA about progress and treatment adjustments.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to reinforce strategies at home.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging therapy environment.
- Complete session notes and progress reports on time.
- Attend team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or a related field is required.
- ABAT, IBT, or RBT certification is required.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavior management techniques.
- Prior experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
