About the Role
Houlihan Lokey is seeking an Off-Cycle Intern for its Corporate Finance Oil & Gas team in Dubai. The intern will work on M&A and financing transactions across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, gaining exposure to financial analysis, modeling, and deal execution.

- Research and analyse financial statements, economic conditions, and industry developments
- Work on transactions providing exposure to client industries and investment banking services
- Gain knowledge of capital raisings and financing structures
Requirements
- Strong academic background
- 3 6 months minimum prior internship experience in Investment Banking, preferably M&A/Corporate Finance
- Strong financial and computer skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Solid accounting and finance knowledge
- Some understanding of financial modelling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Mandarin language advantageous

Scope
- Work on deals across the Middle East and Asia Pacific region.
- Research and analyse financial statements, general economic conditions, industry specific developments, acquisitions and divestitures.
- Gain intimate knowledge of capital raisings and financing structures.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Strong academic background.
- 3 6 months minimum prior internship experience in Investment Banking, M&A/Corporate Finance preferable.
- Strong financial and computer skills.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Solid accounting and finance knowledge.
- Some understanding of financial modelling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Mandarin language advantageous.
- Motivated and able to work cooperatively in a rapidly changing environment.
