Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Printing Technician with a strong background in both 3D design and additive manufacturing processes.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, optimizing, and managing 3D files, as well as operating and maintaining a range of 3D printers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, repair, and optimize 3D files for printing (including slicing and file correction).
- Work with various 3D file formats and ensure models are print-ready.
- Operate different types of 3D printers and manage print jobs efficiently.
- Monitor print quality and troubleshoot any issues during the printing process.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of 3D printers to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the design team to improve model accuracy and production outcomes.
- Suggest improvements, alternatives, and technical solutions when required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in 3D printing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of 3D design software and file preparation tools.
- Hands-on experience with slicing software and printer settings optimization.
- Ability to repair and modify 3D models for production.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
