EXPERIENCE
Level I: Experience in ISO, IATF or similar quality management systems in a manufacturing environment inspecting metal formed parts and components.
Level II: At least 1 year’s hands-on or direct experience with quality assurance including using inspection tools and software, quality documentation, problem-solving.
Level III: At least 3 years’ hands-on or direct experience with quality assurance including using inspection tools and software, quality documentation, problem-solving.
Preferred: Experience with auditing
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
High School Diploma
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES THAT ENABLE YOU TO SUCCEED
- Basic Data Entry in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and Outlook and ability to learn new software tools.
- Hands-on experience with ERP or MRP. Global Shop Solutions is preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate with coworkers. Build rapport and develop alliances; adjusts communication style to meet the needs at various levels within organization.
- Basic mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to detect basic steel defects, use inspection tools and document measurement activities.
- Reliable and diligent with the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards in quality.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred: Ability to travel as needed. Must possess valid driver’s license (insurable with good driving record).
