REPORTS TO : Production Supervisor STATUS : Non-Exempt

Take direction from Supervisor or lead to accomplish set production goals.

This position involves operating manufacturing equipment to increase production efficiency.

• Participate as an active team member of production in assigned area.
• Perform repetitive tasks as assigned including but not limited to operating manufacturing equipment, handling both unfinished and finished product, boxing and packaging product, transporting product to and from the production line, inspecting product for quality and defects, adjusting machine settings as needed, cleaning and sanitizing workstations, disposing of trash and other refuse, and utilizing all manner of small hand tools, meat scissors, and knives.
• Assist in training of co-workers as directed.
• Ensure compliance with established food safety programs, including HACCP programs, SSOPs and GMPs.
• Effectively follow directions of the lead, supervisor, or manager at all times.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
