Role Overview
The Machine Operator is responsible for the programming, setup, and operation of laser cutting and press brake equipment to produce high-quality, customized metal components. This role requires strong technical expertise in reading and interpreting drawings, planning material usage, and ensuring accurate and efficient production.
Working closely with Engineering and Production teams, the Machine Operator supports workflow optimization, maintains equipment through routine checks and basic maintenance, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. The position also plays a key role in quality assurance, safe material handling, and mentoring junior operators within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a new position being staffed which requires the individual to be onsite five(5) days a week, Monday - Friday 2:30PM to 11:00PM.

What you'll do
Review and interpret technical drawings to ensure an accurate understanding of product requirements; identify and escalate discrepancies or concerns to the Lead Hand and Engineering team.
Plan and organize production workflow by reviewing job requirements and sequencing material staging to support efficient cutting and forming operations.
