Job Description
Student placement focused on building production enterprise data applications and software solutions.
The placement runs for eight months from January 2027 through August 2027.
What will you do?
- Design and build full-stack web applications using Dash and Python.
- Develop Python backend services with Pandas for transformations, pipelines, and business logic.
- Create responsive interfaces for stakeholder interaction with data and insights.
- Write tested and documented code and implement version control, reviews, and deployment pipelines.
- Integrate AI/ML models into production applications for scalable performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and developers to refine requirements and features.
Must-have Requirements
- Be enrolled in a third-year or higher Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related program at a Canadian university.
- Have at least eight months of completed co-op or internship experience in software development, web development, or data engineering.
- Have strong Python proficiency and production application development experience.
- Have advanced Pandas experience and solid knowledge of web architecture, SQL, and relational databases.
- Demonstrate curiosity about data, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and commitment to maintainable code.
