Job Description
The four-month AI Business Analyst Intern placement supports Operational Risk in identifying, documenting, and delivering AI use cases.
The role combines business and technical skills and collaborates with risk subject matter experts and AI and technology development teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Operational Risk subject matter experts to understand AI needs and ensure requirements are met.
- Document AI use cases across intake, scoping, and detailed requirements stages of the AI development lifecycle.
- Experiment with large language models to support identification of AI opportunities and best practices.
- Act as a change champion to support AI adoption within the business.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong AI experience with demonstrable prompt engineering experience.
- Experience creating and running Python scripts.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Creative and analytical thinking, self-direction, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Leadership acumen and willingness to apply it in a dynamic business environment.
Student Eligibility
- The placement runs for four months from January 2027 through April 2027.
- Candidates must return to school after the work term or require the full term as a mandatory component of graduation.
Work Arrangement
- The successful candidate must be located within Ontario for the work term.
- Specific virtual, hybrid, and in-office arrangements will be discussed with the hiring manager.
Schedule
- The position is a full-time student or co-op placement with 37.5 work hours per week.
