About the Role
Jefferies is seeking an Investment Banking Intern for its MENA team in Dubai. The intern will support M&A, equity, and debt transactions, performing financial analysis, building models, and preparing pitchbooks.

Responsibilities
- Perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples based analysis
- Build and operate financial models
- Prepare pitchbooks and live deal materials such as management presentations, offering memorandums and prospectuses
- Conduct industry and product research
- Analyse detailed corporate and financial information
- Participate in the execution of M&A, equity and debt transactions
- Interact with clients, potential buyers etc.
- Help build out the MENA business / office and franchise
Requirements
- Excellent academic credentials and professional drive
- Ability to work as part of a global team with a self starting approach
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous investment banking / corporate finance experience is an advantage
- Fluency in Arabic is an advantage

MENA Team Overview

- Successful candidates must show an ability to work as part of a global team, with a self starting approach to problem solving, quantitative skills, accuracy, flexibility, reliability, dedication, and enthusiasm
- Excellent academic credentials and professional drive
- Previous investment banking / corporate finance experience is an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a passion for excellence
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in Arabic is an advantage
- Both attention to detail and the ability to see the bigger picture
