Role Overview
Serve as a Co-op Intern in Global Compliance Internal Audit at RBC.
Assess controls, risk management, governance, and fraud prevention practices for the Global Compliance function.
Gain exposure to regulatory compliance management, products, business lines, platforms, and audit techniques.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to planning, execution, and reporting for Global Compliance audit engagements.
- Develop and review audit recommendations, programs, and sampling techniques.
- Assess controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- Analyze data sets with visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, insights, and anomalies.
- Support regulatory requests, projects, audits, and management self-reporting of control issues.
- Respond to stakeholders and build constructive relationships with audit peers and business partners.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Work toward a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, written communication, verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Work independently and collaboratively while prioritizing multiple tasks under pressure.
