Role Overview
Support backend application engineering and data processing for scalable services, data ingestion and transformation, system integration, and enterprise applications.
The role requires production Java service development experience and work with ETL processes, backend data services, distributed systems, and large-scale data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based backend services and data processing components.
- Build scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions.
- Design and support backend and data-driven services using APIs, databases, and distributed application patterns.
- Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders on technical solutions.
- Contribute to system design, implementation, testing, and production operations.
- Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability across backend and data services.
- Troubleshoot defects and production issues across application and data layers.
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Work within Agile and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Ramp quickly into existing systems and contribute to active engineering initiatives.
