Role Overview
Alankaram is seeking zonal sales heads for the North and West regions.
The role is based in Indore and involves regular travel across North India.
The position reports to the NSM or Sales Head and leads regional growth for a premium solid wood furniture brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual and quarterly strategic sales plans for the zone.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead Area or Regional Managers and the zonal sales team.
- Set targets, conduct performance reviews, and build a high-performance culture.
- Track sales performance, analyze metrics, identify growth opportunities, and course-correct.
- Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior.
- Build relationships with clients, architects, designers, and channel partners.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams on launches, campaigns, and supply logistics.
- Prepare forecasts, MIS reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Manage zonal budgets and optimize costs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA is preferred.
