z/OS Systems/Application Engineer (IBM)

Design, build and support enterprise integration solutions across IBM z/OS.

Configure and maintain integration middleware supporting business-critical services.

Deliver integrations that satisfy functional, performance, resilience, and security requirements.

Work with application teams, architects, and infrastructure teams to define integration designs.

Investigate complex production incidents and identify long-term improvements.

Produce technical documentation, solution designs, and operational procedures.

Support continuous improvement of the project client’s integration platforms and engineering standards.

Basic Requirements 8+ years of experience designing, developing, supporting, or integrating applications and services on IBM z/OS platforms. 5+ years of experience implementing or supporting enterprise integration solutions using IBM MQ, CICS, or related mainframe integration technologies. 3+ years of experience designing, developing,or supporting APU-based integrations using Rest APIs, z/OS Connect EE, or equivalent integration frameworks. The starting pay range for this role is $93,816 – 171,125. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
