Role Overview
This role is a part of Coesia’s Young Professionals Program (YPP). YPP is a 2-year rotational program with structured training during the role to develop high potential, early career professionals.
As the Procurement Specialist you are responsible for supporting the Procurement team to optimize the value delivered in Quality, Service, Risk Mitigation, Supplier Innovation, and Cost. Takes Buying, Inventory, and Analytical actions to create Continuous Improvement.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, and other groups to align stakeholders with Procurement activities and drive results. Conducts successful Key Supplier interactions to achieve our common goals. Contributes to a positive team culture, embraces our company values, demonstrates emotional intelligence, and communicates effectively to build valuable relationships.
In this role you are responsible for:
Works on Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ) packages to obtain supplier bids.
Learns how to Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, and Group Procurement to achieve Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE), Make vs. Buy, and Supplier Quality goals.
Research potential suppliers to discover if their capabilities, culture, capacity, and commercial strategy are a fit for our needs.
Supports key supplier performance evaluations to develop superior supply chain competitiveness.
Conducts spend analysis to identify trends and opportunities across our supply base.
Helps shape Procurement Category Strategies that assess the markets, supply base, and supplier performance, and creates plans to leverage that knowledge, while aligning internal stakeholders to them.
Supports developing supplier agreements and contracts as needed, to optimize cash flow, inventory requirements, material lead times, and capacity commitments, while supporting Sales and other enterprise commercial goals.
Helps support the life cycle of each project, from purchase order to final customer site acceptance, while coordinating with Planning and other teams to ensure parts are delivered when needed to meet the timelines needed.
Assists in Inventory analysis and actions to optimize financial and operational performance.
Reviews commodity and market reports to understand the impact of adverse supply chain conditions or to consider the benefit of positive market situations.

What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree education in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Business Management, or related fields.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to persuade, motivate, and align support for key ideas and initiatives, and prepare clear and concise oral and written discussions and presentations.
Ability to balance and manage multiple complicated priorities and exhibit good judgment and decision‐making skills.
Demonstrates a high level of motivation with a track record of pursuing and achieving goals.
Skill in using data and information analyses to draw conclusions and make solid recommendations.
Able to travel as needed to suppliers, company sites, and other destinations as needed.
During the Young Professional Program, you will travel to out of country for a two week training
