About the RoleAn exciting opportunity exists to join the South-West Victoria Region, School Performance Division as the Youth Programs Officer (YPO). This VPS4 role is for a Full time-fixed term period until 19 November 2027.The primary responsibilities of this role are to:Co-manage the exemption from school application process, including processing of applications, preparing exemption correspondence and following up with schools and pathway providers;Support schools to comply with the exemption from school policy and liaise with schools, TAFEs and RTOs around exemption requirements to help them follow processes;collaborate with area staff and provide advice to senior regional leadership on recommended application outcomes.Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team to support the implementation of government/departmental reform projects and policy relating to effective youth pathways and 0-18 transitions. You will need to demonstrate proficient time management skills, be accountable, take initiative and develop strong stakeholder relationships.
