YARD PERSON / FORKLIFT OPERATOR

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Person / Forklift Operator to join our team at our Kunda Park Distribution Centre.

This is a hands-on role working in the yard and warehouse, picking, and preparing orders, unloading and storing building products and loading customer and delivery vehicles.

You don't need to have experience in the building or hardware industry.

We will provide training on our products, systems, and processes.

We are looking for someone with the right attitude who is willing to learn and work as part of a team.

The role

• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Loading trucks and customer vehicles
• Unloading and storing incoming products
• Safe operation of forklifts
• Keeping the yard and storage areas organised
• Assisting with general yard duties
• Working safely and following company procedures

Essential requirements

• Current LF forklift licence
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual
• Strong focus on safety
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to safely handle products

Previous experience with timber or building products is not required.

Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
