Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams using proper techniques and positioning
Prepare, position, and assist patients during imaging procedures to ensure comfort and safety
Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring functionality, cleanliness, and calibration
Evaluate images for technical quality and follow department protocols for image storage and documentation
Accurately document patient information and imaging details in electronic health records (EHR)
Apply radiation protection techniques in accordance with regulatory standards and company policy
Adhere to infection control and safety procedures at all times
Communicate effectively with physicians, radiologists, patients, and other team members
Maintain compliance with continuing education and licensing requirements
Assist with scheduling, clerical tasks, and workflow coordination as needed
Provide hands-on training and mentorship to students during clinical rotations, ensuring competency in imaging procedures, safety protocols, and patient care standards while fostering professionalism, confidence, and skill development.
Education And Experience
Associate’s degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (Required)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Preferred)
Valid state license as required by applicable law or regulatory agency
1–2 years of experience as an X-ray Technologist (preferred)
Experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient knowledge of radiologic imaging procedures, anatomy, and patient positioning techniques

Skilled in operating radiographic equipment and imaging software (e.g., PACS, RIS, EMR systems)
Understanding of radiation safety, ALARA principles, and infection control practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, staff, and physicians
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
