Role overview
Work as a Software Engineer within a feature team to build secure, robust, customer-centric, and high-performance solutions.
The role is offered at associate level and involves collaboration with engineers, architects, and business analysts.
Responsibilities
- Engineer software, scripts, and tools across the software lifecycle.
- Produce complex and critical software rapidly and to a high quality standard.
- Design, produce, test, and implement software solutions.
- Work across requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Support software enhancement, maintenance, replacement, and decommissioning activities.
- Collaborate to optimize software engineering capability.
Required experience
- Background in software engineering, software design, and architecture.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Java Microservices, Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, AWS services, and cloud architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation, and automation.
- Experience with container platforms such as Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, or Lambda.
- Experience with event-driven architecture such as Kafka.
- Experience with AWS Lake Formation.
