Purpose: Student tutors provide additional assistance out of class time for students in their core coursework .
Duties And Responsibilities
Manage a load of students referred for tutoring by faculty, work with faculty to determine the material to work on with the students, come prepared with necessary materials for each student.
Rate of Pay : $15.50/hr
General Qualifications: Academically successful students who have completed 200-level coursework identified by the department, preferably with training via the offered pedagogy courses.
Length of employment : 8/24/26 to 5/6/27, or the date a student has earned their full WS award, or is no longer enrolled full time, whichever comes first.
Evaluation procedures and schedule: Annually with rehiring.
