The College of Arts and Sciences is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a work study.

This position will assist with administrative support to members of the Dean's office.

Your responsibilities will include a range of tasks that contribute to the efficiency of the college.

These responsibilities include:

• Greeting faculty, students, staff and visitors that come into the office.
• Maintaining a clean and organized lobby.
• Delivering mail to staff members.
• Monitor supplies.
• Assisting with basic office maintenance and organization.

Assist staff with projects as requested

Work with other departments to complete projects as requested

• Ensuring a welcoming, positive and professional work environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.

Comfort assisting with basic technological issues (troubleshooting printers, wifi, etc.)

Ability to lift 10-15lbs.

Ability to handle confidential information and files with discretion

Experience providing customer service preferred but not required

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Time: 10-15 Hours a week
