WorkStudy - Recording Services Engineer

Purpose: Assist the Recording Services Department as assigned

• Recording knowledge and experience is increasingly important for the modern musician.
• Earn money and build confidence in skills that will be useful for the rest of your musical career!
• Training provided.
• Assist in the audio/video production for CIM events: live broadcast, live sound, camera operation, etc.
• Weekly meeting/check-in (virtual or in person as able)
• Record student recitals, orchestra rehearsals and faculty rehearsals
• Regular Backup Shifts available on weekday evenings and weekends.
• Office work as needed.

Rate of Pay : $15.00/hr

General Qualifications: Audio or video experience preferred.

It is important that you are organized, reliable, and demonstrate grace under pressure.

WS award isn't required to apply for this position but will result in fewer recording opportunities.

Length of employment : 8/24/26 to 5/6/27, or the date a student has earned their full WS award, or is no longer enrolled full time, whichever comes first.
