Purpose: CIM students offer academic tutoring for Cleveland-area school children grades K-12.
Led by the Division of Student Affairs at Case Western Reserve University, CIM students will work with children on various academic subjects and study habits.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Attend one training session TBA
- Tutor K-12 student(s) on academic subjects
- Commit to teaching for the full semester
- Record the student’s grade and subject matter as notes on your timesheet
- Communicate directly with Rafael Sturdivant at SaturdayTutoring@gmail.com with concerns
Rate of Pay: $20.00/ hr
Length of Employment: 8/24/26 to 5/6/27, or the date a student has earned their full WS award, or is no longer enrolled full time, whichever comes first.
Requirements
- Comfortable working with school-aged children on various academic subjects
- Ability to travel to Church of the Covenant (walkable from CIM)
- Available some/most Saturday mornings beginning September 11
- Punctual and reliable
