Workshop Technician

Servicing, repairing, testing, calibrating and maintaining water quality monitoring equipment and sensors.

Preparing, cleaning and deploying water quality instrumentation, ensuring equipment is fully operational and ready for field use.

Managing equipment availability through battery maintenance, stock control and asset tracking using internal IT systems.

Supporting safe and efficient operations by following health and safety procedures and adapting to changing project and field team requirements.

Strong practical skills, attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.

An interest in water quality instrumentation, with the ability to follow calibration procedures accurately.

Good communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive, adaptable approach to meeting deadlines.

Confidence using IT systems, a commitment to safe working practices, and a positive, can-do attitude.

A full UK driving license and flexibility to occasionally work away from base, including overnight stays when required.
