Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of an industrial workshop.
Ensure efficient production, maintenance, manpower utilization, quality, safety, and timely completion of workshop activities.
The role requires experience in fabrication, mechanical works, piping, equipment maintenance, and workshop management.
Workshop Operations
- Manage fabrication, mechanical, piping, welding, assembly, and repair activities.
- Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, tools, and materials for project requirements.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, QA/QC, HSE, procurement, and stores teams.
- Review drawings, specifications, work orders, and project documents before starting work.
Quality, Safety, and Maintenance
- Ensure workshop machinery, equipment, tools, and facilities are properly utilized and maintained.
- Monitor fabrication and assembly for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, documentation, and final acceptance with QA/QC.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and applicable Oil and Gas safety standards.
