Responsibilities
- Supervise all machining activities in the workshop for operations readiness, commissioning, and start up
- Ensure machining activities meet international standards and codes
- Ensure machining activities meet Company QA/QC and reliability standards
- Ensure machining consumables are used and stored for full availability
- Check all balancing jobs are performed within highest standards
- Track and ensure machining activities meet biweekly schedule
- Coordinate machining activities during normal operations and shutdown
- Maintain all machinery in machine shop and test periodically
- Provide Toolbox Talks and Job Safety Analysis for all activities
- Ensure turning/machining materials are used without wastage
Requirements
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in engineering
- 8 years’ experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry in similar field
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Capable to conduct Toolbox Talks and hazard identifications
- Capable to read and interpret engineering drawings

Job Purpose
