Working Foreman

Cobalt is seeking experienced Working Foreman with extensive heavy equipment operating backgrounds.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for individuals who lead by example, are comfortable operating a wide range of equipment, and can effectively guide and support crews in the field.

The successful candidate will work closely with Site Superintendents while maintaining the ability to independently manage crews and daily tasks when required.

This position is well-suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, remote work environments and are committed to safety, productivity, and teamwork.

• Operate a wide variety of road construction and mining equipment as required
• Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and mentorship to crew members
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans
• Communicate effectively with Site Superintendents regarding progress, challenges, and staffing needs
• Assist with job planning, task coordination, and productivity tracking
• Enforce company safety policies and participate in safety meetings and inspections
• Step in to manage crews independently when Site Superintendents are unavailable
