- Direct and oversee daily 2nd shift production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators including productivity, attendance, quality performance, downtime, turnover, and headcount attainment.
- Ensure shift objectives are achieved while maintaining operational continuity across shifts.
- Manage employee attendance, retention, engagement, and performance initiatives.
- Coordinate orientation and training tracking for new hires and existing employees.
- Support employee relations through coaching, counseling, investigations, and corrective action processes.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with OEM quality standards, customer requirements, and internal quality management systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve workforce performance, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and organizational procedures.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, staffing, workforce management, or related leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of workforce planning, employee engagement, recruiting, and onboarding processes.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and performance management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS/ATS systems, ERP systems, and production reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Lean Manufacturing Certification.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, or other quality management systems.
- Experience with high-volume production operations.
- Project management experience or certification.
- Experience managing contingent workforce programs or staffing operations.
- Ability to work on the manufacturing floor for extended periods.
- Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout production areas.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
