Workers Compensation Underwriter (50469)

Underwrite Workers Compensation opportunities for an existing portfolio of brokers.

Process and manage renewals, policy adjustments and associated underwriting documentation.

Respond to broker and customer enquiries, providing timely and accurate solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders.

Work closely with the Renewal and New Business Teams to achieve profit, growth and retention targets.

Apply sound underwriting judgement to ensure appropriate risk selection and pricing outcomes.

Collaborate with claims, credit services and other internal teams to deliver quality customer outcomes.

Workers Compensation Underwriting experience or exposure is desirable.

General Insurance experience is essential.

Strong relationship building skills.

Previous teamwork experience.

Strong negotiation skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills.
