Opportunity Overview
INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Work Permit Receiver for its automation team.
The role supports industrial automation and control projects across oil and gas, petrochemical, utilities, and manufacturing industries.
Projects may involve PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS, FGS, OSI PI, and wellhead automation solutions.
Permit and Site Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and understand work permits before starting jobs.
- Confirm that work is performed under the correct permit category, including hot work, cold work, confined space, and electrical work.
- Verify approvals, safety measures, risk assessments, LOTO procedures, and isolation plans.
- Maintain permit documentation, sign off completed work, and return permits for closure.
- Conduct pre-job briefings, inspect worksites for hazards, and ensure PPE availability and use.
- Monitor work activities, housekeeping, and worksite restoration for safety compliance.
- Coordinate communication between permit issuers, site supervisors, and work crews.
Required Qualifications
- DAE qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation.
- At least 3 years of industrial experience.
