Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites
- Build custom themes and plugins
- Customize WooCommerce stores and checkout processes
- Develop custom post types, taxonomies, and admin functionalities
- Integrate third party APIs, CRMs, payment gateways, and marketing tools
- Perform website migrations across different hosting providers
- Optimize website speed and Core Web Vitals
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress, server, and database issues
- Conduct malware cleanup and security hardening
- Configure and manage hosting, DNS, SSL, SMTP, and Cloudflare
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
Requirements
- 3 5 years of experience in WordPress development
- Strong expertise in custom WordPress development, WooCommerce, performance optimization, website security, migrations, and server management
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, PHP, MySQL
- Experience with page builders like Elementor, WP Bakery, Gutenberg
- Knowledge of hosting, DNS, SSL, SMTP, Cloudflare
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers
