Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end supply chain for teak products, from port arrival to client delivery.
• Conduct quality assessments on incoming lumber to ensure it meets Pacific Coast Teak’s rigorous FSC® standards.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for architects and builders regarding wood specifications, moisture content, and milling options.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels, ensuring that high-demand cuts and dimensions are always in stock.
• Prepare detailed quotations and technical submittals for large-scale tenders and luxury residential projects.
• Liaise with the production facility to track custom milling and furniture orders, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines.
• Maintain accurate documentation for FSC® compliance and Qatar customs regulations.

Skills And Requirements

• **Timber Expertise:** Deep understanding of wood properties, grading (FEQ/FAS), and moisture-level requirements.
• **Supply Chain Management:** Proven ability to coordinate logistics and warehouse operations in a technical environment.
• **Technical Communication:** Ability to interpret architectural drawings and explain technical wood applications to clients.
• **Inventory Mastery:** High proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel for tracking stock and sales data.
• **FSC® Knowledge:** Familiarity with sustainable forestry standards and Chain of Custody (CoC) documentation.
• **Experience:** 3+ years in the timber, furniture, or construction materials industry.
• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Wood Science, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
