Position Summary

Wood Polisher and Painter role in the Engineering and Facilities department at a Riyadh property.

The position performs painting, polishing, surface preparation, finishing, and related property maintenance work.

Painting and Finishing Duties

  • Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
  • Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats.
  • Remove old finishes through stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or water or abrasive blasting.
  • Protect surfaces during painting, post paint signs, and clean and store tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors to modify paint, stain, or varnish colors.

Standards and Physical Duties

  • Follow company, safety, and security procedures and report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, and injuries.
  • Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and provide courteous guest service.
  • Perform work involving ladders, bending, reaching, twisting, kneeling, standing, walking, and handling objects of different sizes and weights.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
  • At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is specified.
  • No license or certification is specified.
