- Apply paint, stain, lacquer, varnish, and other finishes using spray guns, brushes, or rollers
- Mix paints and finishes to achieve the required color and texture
- Inspect finished products to ensure high quality workmanship and consistency
- Perform touch ups and repairs as needed
- Maintain painting equipment and keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use protective equipment
Requirements
- Previous experience as a wood furniture painter or in a similar finishing role
- Knowledge of wood finishing materials, paints, stains, and spray painting techniques
- Ability to prepare surfaces and produce smooth, high quality finishes
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to handle furniture pieces safely
