The Wireless Sales Supervisor champions customer experience and wireless department performance in a retail environment.
The role combines wireless selling, customer engagement, sales goal delivery, associate coaching, and partnership with store management.
Sales and customer experience
- Share knowledge of wireless technology products, services, and trends with consumer and business customers.
- Partner with management to identify and achieve department goals.
- Lead and model selling behaviors to achieve current goals and targets.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
Business development
- Conduct follow-up calls to solicit feedback and promote additional products and services.
- Identify new business opportunities through referrals and outreach activities.
- Work with market leaders to target and generate business sales leads and referrals.
- Provide management with relevant sales information.
People leadership
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding within the department.
- Train and coach associates in sales and customer engagement.
- Reinforce asset protection and privacy policies with associates.
Required and preferred qualifications
- At least 2 years of wireless sales experience is required.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory role with direct accountability for sales targets is preferred.
- Post-secondary education is preferred.
- Candidates should be able to resolve concerns diplomatically, organize daily responsibilities, work independently, and seek assistance as needed.
