Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for splicing cables and manufacturing wire rope slings according to required specifications, while adhering to work procedures and deadlines.

The person also operates hydraulic presses.

Your Responsibilities

• Splice cables;
• Manufacture all types of steel wire rope slings;
• Measure, cut, roll, and assemble cables and accessories as required;
• Coil (wind) cable;
• Operate hydraulic presses;
• Follow work procedures and deadlines;
• Complete production reports or other required documentation;
• Inspect products (compliance / strength) according to internal and external customer requirements;
• Inform the supervisor of any non-conformities or equipment damage;
