Position Responsibilities

  • Work alongside an experienced team to assist in areas such as talent solutions, learning initiatives, recruitment and related HR programs and projects.
  • Collaborate as part of an Intern Cohort on a HR project of significance to the business.
  • Support on projects that will be real-world solutioning for potential implementation (for example, research, design and develop a consistent approach to engagement of remote workers etc.).
  • Your work will be meaningful, you’ll be coached by peers, team-mates, and mentored by senior HR leaders to guide your development on the way.
  • You’ll have access to business leaders for perspective, and we will open every door possible to ensure your experience is truly valuable.
  • Post-graduation, our Intern alumni will have the opportunity to apply for our HR Acceleration Program (HRAP), a 2-year rotational program of comprising four x 6-month assignments through high-impact HR functional areas HR Business Partnering, People Analytics, DEI, Global Learning, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, or another HR functional areas.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in HR/HR-related program.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking/ sound judgement.
  • Excellent communication/relationship skills.
  • A focus on identifying ways to improve the current state.
  • Can communicate clearly and confidently to influence through data and sound reasoning.
  • A natural curiosity to learn and the ability to apply learned skills.
  • Able to plan, organize and implement process improvements and/or projects.

Salary range is expected to be between

  • $35,100.00 CAD - $56,550.00 CAD
  • The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. The annual salary will be pro-rated based on the length of the work-term.
