Dassault Systèmes is hiring a Windows-based Application Engineer in Pune, India.
The role focuses on application infrastructure, deployment, automation, support, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery on Windows systems.
Role description and responsibilities
- Manage application installations, configurations, and upgrades on Windows systems using DevOps practices.
- Automate and standardize configurations across environments.
- Use Git and Automation Ops Pipelines to deploy automations from development to production.
- Integrate external source control systems to manage automation code.
- Ensure application data integrity and implement backup strategies for Windows systems.
- Ensure compliance and patch vulnerabilities.
- Provide L3 support for all end users.
- Manage disaster recovery for applications.
- Monitor systems using Grafana and Prometheus.
Qualifications
- 4-5 years of experience managing application infrastructure using DevOps tools and practices.
- Hands-on experience with Windows servers, NetApp, and backup and restore procedures.
- Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on Windows and possibly Linux systems.
- Ability to understand IT infrastructure, processes, policies, and tools and align with them.
- Cloud experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to write documentation in a clear and concise way.
- Willingness to work in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory.
