Winding- TPC

Select winding kit to work on based on schedule or as determined by team lead or supervisor

Review winding kit to ensure proper & adequate materials have been provided or are available

Based on winding order spec, select & load wire and set-up TPC winding machine

Based on winding order spec load appropriate winding program or ask team lead to create one

All coils must be wound according to specs. Deviations must be pre-approved by manufacturing engineering

Run 1 st off samples to verify equipment set-up before running complete job

Perform ratio tests on all 1 st off coils and additionally as specified in Ratio/Polarity SPI

Ensure finished coils fall within all dimensions & tolerances as specified on spec/drawings

Based on winding order spec, select & load wire and set-up Broomfield winding machine

Always perform the ratio tests as specified for each 1 st of coil or additionally as spec requires

Always verify parts are correct as per the specs or drawings

Notify QA of any quality issues using the appropriate process and forms
