- Perform daily inspection, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wind turbines, substations, and electrical systems.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
- Carry out scheduled and preventive maintenance according to OEM manuals and site procedures.
- Support installation, commissioning, and retrofit activities as required.
- Monitor turbine performance via SCADA and report abnormal operating conditions.
- Record maintenance activities, faults, and corrective actions accurately.
- Follow HSE requirements, permit to work systems, and site safety rules.
- Participate in emergency response and safety drills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline
- 1–2 years of experience in wind power, power plants, solar PV, or industrial maintenance
- Strong hands on mechanical and electrical skills
- Basic understanding of control systems and fault diagnostics
- Ability to work at height and in outdoor / remote site conditions
- Fluently English communication skills
- Willingness to work shifts and respond to breakdowns

Job Overview
- We are hiring a Wind Farm Operation & Maintenance Assistant Engineer to support the day to day operation and maintenance of an onshore wind farm in the UAE.
- This is a hands on, site based role.
- Candidates with experience in power plants or solar PV projects who are willing to transition into the wind energy sector are welcome to apply.
