As the state's public trustee, we support people at all stages of life through services like Will preparation, Powers of Attorney, executor and trustee services, and personal financial administration.About the RoleWe're looking for someone to join our experienced and supportive Wills team. In this client-facing role, you'll prepare Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPAs) and Appointment of Medical Treatment Decision Maker (AMTDMs), support clients to make informed decisions, and help promote State Trustees as a trusted executor and estate planning service provider.You'll also have the opportunity to participate in our Regional and Home Visitation programs, making this a rewarding role for someone who enjoys meaningful client contact.DutiesEngage with clients before and after their appointments to improve appointment outcomes, client satisfaction and retention.Meet with clients to prepare their Wills, Powers of Attorney and Appointment of Medical Treatment Decision Maker (AMTDMs).Prepare documents that reflect client wishes and comply with legal requirementsIdentify and escalate matters for legal review when neededEducate clients on the benefits of nominating State Trustees as Trustee, Executor or Financial Attorney in documentsSkills & Experience Current Practicing Certificate or eligibility to obtain one (desirable)Experience preparing Wills, Powers of Attorney and Appointment of Medical Treatment Decision Maker (AMTDMs), including a sound understanding of the legal requirements for validity and efficacyStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and a client-focused approachComfortable using Microsoft Office and working with client management systemsA working knowledge of relevant estate planning legislation (eg Wills Act, Administration and Probate Act, Powers of Attorney Act, Medical Treatment Planning and Decisions Act etc)Experience driving commercial outcomes including appointment volumes, upselling and cross-selling of complimentary servicesAbility to hit the ground running and thrive in a fast paced, client facing environment Employee BenefitsWe're proud to offer a range of benefits that support our team's wellbeing and growth:Flexible working conditionsCareer development opportunitiesHealth and wellbeing programsEducation assistancePurchased leaveEmployee assistance programReward and recognition programFree Will preparationRetail and lifestyle discountsCharitable workplace givingSocial club eventsHow to ApplyClick the Apply button to commence the application process.
