Overview
- Develop and qualify Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs) and implement Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs) tailored to project requirements
- Administer welder qualification tests and oversee all aspects of welding operations.
- Inspect welds for quality and ensure adherence to applicable industry standards, codes and standards requirements.
- Inspect welds and ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Identify and resolve welding-related issues, offering corrective action plans as needed.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in welding technology.
- Train and mentor junior welding engineers and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
