Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Welding Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi.
The role develops and qualifies welding procedures, selects processes and parameters, and supports production teams with complex welds.
The engineer works with project managers, quality control personnel, and clients.
Daily Responsibilities
- Review engineering drawings and specify welding consumables.
- Oversee weld trials and troubleshoot welding issues on the shop floor.
- Perform or coordinate welding inspections and monitor weld quality.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations.
- Improve welding efficiency, safety, and reliability.
