The O pportunity
We’re looking for a skilled Welder who is a collaborative team player and confident self-starter with strong technical and interpersonal abilities.
In this role, you will plan, supply, maintain , and perform welding and fabrication work in support of our vessels, terminals, buildings, facilities, and new construction projects.
You prepare sketches, order materials , perform welding and fabrication set-up and preparation while coordinating work with other trades and contractors.
This is an opportunity to contribute to complex, safety-critical infrastructure in a dynamic marine environment.
Reporting to the Trades Supervisor, you perform the following duties:
What you bring to the team
You hold an ‘A’ Level Welding Certificate, as well as a minimum 3 years’ related experience, with at least 1 year welding fabrication experience, preferably in the marine industry.
All position CWB certification an asset.
A valid BC driver’s licence is required as moderate travel throughout the fleet is required .
