About the Role
Auralon Engineering is seeking a Welder for projects in Qatar. The role requires performing GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (ARC) welding in 6G position, interpreting WPS, and ensuring weld quality meets ASME and API standards.

Responsibilities
- Perform GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (ARC) welding in 6G position and other positions as per job requirement
- Weld small bore piping, pressure parts, and critical joints with high accuracy and minimal distortion
- Interpret and follow approved WPS, PQR, and weld maps
- Ensure weld quality meets ASME, API, and client specification standards
- Conduct self inspection and coordinate with QC for weld visual and NDT clearance
- Maintain welding equipment, consumables, and tools in proper working condition
- Follow company safety policies, permit to work procedures, and PPE requirements
- Participate in weld test qualifications and periodic performance revalidation
- Support fabrication and erection teams during workshop and site operations
