Maintain a safe work environment.
Ensure reliable and consistent operation of equipment.
Perform maintenance on pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers, chains, bearings and hydraulic equipment involved in the manufacturing process.
Undertake preventative maintenance activities on equipment.
Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to repair equipment.
Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during assembly, installation, setup and repair activities.
Repair and assemble hydraulic equipment and cylinders.
Verify and document completed repairs.
Valid Journeyperson Welding Certification.
Three or more years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
Strong organizational and planning skills to prioritize daily and weekly tasks.
The knowledge and skills to recognize opportunities for improvements and cost savings.
